Superstar Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan voted at their respective polling stations in Chennai. Actor Dhanush casts his vote at St. Francis Xavier’s School, TTK Road. Vijay Sethupathi casts his vote at Chennai High School in Kilpauk.

17 states and four Union Territories will go to polls in 102 constituencies. Voting is going on in the largest number of constituencies in this first phase out of seven phases. The voting for the remaining phases will be held on April 26 (second phase), May 7 (third phase), May 13 (fourth phase), May 20 (fifth phase), May 25 (sixth phase) and June 1 (seventh phase) respectively.
