/ The Russian company “AvtoVAZ” announced the start of sales of new “Lada Granta” cars equipped with an automatic transmission.

A statement issued by the company, according to the Russian “Novosti” news agency, said, “AvtoVAZ announces the start of sales of Lada Granta cars equipped with a classic automatic transmission. Models of these cars have arrived in dealer showrooms.”

According to the statement, automatic transmissions were installed on the “Granta” models of the “sedan” and “liftback” categories, and the prices of the “Liftback” car models will start at 12,700 dollars, while the prices of the “sedan” versions will start at 13,400 dollars.

Last year, AvtoVAZ announced modifications to the Lada Granta cars, indicating that the new versions of these cars were equipped with a 1.6-liter gasoline engine that generates torque equivalent to 90 horsepower. They were also equipped with a modified audio system, new speakers, and seat heating systems. Front windows, windows and side mirrors, new air conditioning, and 15-inch 185/55 wheels.

Granta cars received a new ABS braking system, an anti-slip system, an Active Drive system, Russian ERA-GLONASS positioning technologies, and new LED lights.
