The second day of the Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup competition has started at the National Gymnastics Arena in Baku, Day.Az reported on Saturday with reference to Trend.

Today there will be qualifying competitions among gymnasts performing in the individual program. The Graces will present exercises with clubs and ribbon. There will also be qualifications among teams in group exercises, which will demonstrate programs with three ribbons and two balls.

It should be noted that the Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup is taking place at the National Gymnastics Arena in Baku on April 19-21. Over 110 gymnasts from more than 40 countries take part in the competition.

Gymnasts perform in a program of individual and group exercises, they compete for awards in individual apparatus and in the all-around.

Eight sets of medals will be awarded at the World Cup. According to tradition, the AGF Trophy will be awarded to the athlete and team in group exercises who receive the highest score for their performance.

Azerbaijan at the World Cup in Rhythmic Gymnastics is represented by: in the individual program – Zohra Agamirova and Kamilla Seyidzade, as well as a team in group exercises, which included Gullyu Agalarzade, Kamilla Aliyeva, Elizaveta Luzan, Daria Sorokina, Lyaman Alimuradova and Zeinab Gummetova.
