Sean Ono Lennon Revive the Lennon-McCartney Legacy with New Ballad Primrose Hill“>James McCartney y Sean Ono Lennonsons of the famous Beatles Paul and John, co-wrote “Primrose Hill“, released a few days ago and already highly appreciated by fans.
The release of the title was announced on Friday by James McCartneywho interprets her.
“Primrose Hill is here! I am very excited to share my latest song, co-written with my dear friend Sean Ono Lennon“he posted on Instagram, along with a sepia-toned selfie of him and Yoko’s son.
“With the release of this song it feels like continuity,” added the singer.
The title is a reference to the exclusive London district that bears the same name, and where many stars, his father Sir Paul McCartney, have residences.

The song presents melancholic echoes, and the influence of the two stars of the Liverpool group – coming from the modest neighborhoods of the working-class city in the north of England – is more than evident.
“If you close your eyes you hear the same voices“, alluding to John and Paul, says one of the Beatles fans on Instagram.
“I never thought I’d hear a new Lennon/McCartney song in 2024,” another gleefully comments.
