VolThe Great Indian Kitchen is a film starring Suraj Venjarammoodu and Nimisha Sajayan in the lead roles after Nandi Muthalum Driksakshiyum. Directed by Geo Baby, the film was well received by the audience. Now there are reports that the film is being remade in Hindi.

Pink Villa reports that Harman Bajwa has acquired the rights to the remake. The film, co-produced by Harman Bajwa and Vicky Bahri, is slated to release by mid-2022. It is reported that the cast has approached two prominent actors to act in the film.

The film was also remade in Tamil. Aishwarya Rajesh plays the lead role. R. Directed by Kannan, the film is produced by Durgaram Chaudhary and Neil Chaudhary.

The Great Indian Kitchen set for a Hindi Remake

‘The Great Indian Kitchen’, directed by Geo Baby, was released on January 15 last year after ‘Kilometers and Kilometers’. The movie starring Nimisha Sajayan and Suraj Venjaramoodu has reached the audience through the new OD platform called Neestream. Due to the importance of the subject matter and the sharpness of the presentation, the film was well received by the international media, including the BBC, from the very first day.

Meanwhile, a Hindi remake of Driving License is in the pipeline. Akshay Kumar and Imran Hashmi will play the lead roles in the film titled Selfie. The Hindi remake is being produced by Prithviraj Productions and Listin Stephen’s Magic Frames along with Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and Akshay Kumar’s Cape of Good Films. Driving License is a Christmas release 2019 film directed by Lal Jr. and scripted by Sachi. The film was a box office success.
