Hockey players from Pardubice beat Třinec 3:0 in the fifth game of the extra league playoff final. They lead 3:2 in the series and on Friday they can celebrate their seventh title on the ice of Ocelarů.
Dynamo gained a key lead against the reigning champions, who are seeking their fifth Masaryk Cup in a row, in the second period. Within five minutes, Lukáš Radil, Lukáš Sedlák and Martin Kaut scored. Goalkeeper Roman Will kept a clean sheet for the third time in the playoffs.
“We played a very good game, the second period was great. We converted the chances we had. Roman Will was excellent. He supported us when we needed it. He had two great saves. We have a point, which is very important,” said the Pardubice coach Marek Zadina.

Dynamo’s successful stretch was underlined in the 35th minute by Kaut, who shot through Kacetl for the third time in a shortened power play. Mazanec then stood in the Třinec goal.
With a three-goal lead, the home team tried to play simply and responsibly, the Steelers, on the other hand, pushed themselves into attack. In the middle of the final part, Dynamo did not use the advantage in numbers, but it did not have to be a regret. It certainly brought the match to a victorious end.
