New Delhi: The West Indies ‘A’ team, which reached Nepal on Thursday, got a very strange welcome. The Caribbean team, which is missing some key players due to the IPL, arrived at the Kathmandu airport on Thursday. There it was seen that Nepal had arranged for a truck to carry the luggage of West Indies players. Also, the bus given to the West Indies players was an ordinary tourist bus which did not have AC facilities.

West Indies will play a 5-match T20 series in Nepal starting from April 27. Despite missing some players due to the IPL, West Indies sent a brand new team, which still includes some key players.

However, the West Indies players were completely surprised by the arrangements made for them by Nepal. A truck was seen outside the airport on which the players were loading their luggage. Some players looked shocked by the behaviour, while others had smiles on their faces. Also, they were given an ordinary bus which did not have AC.

Nepal is a small team in world cricket and if they want to be counted with the big teams then they will have to change these small things. Certainly they still have a long way to go.

World Cup will be held in West Indies from June 2
