During this ceremony, Ms. Abdenbi noted that the number of cases registered over the past year totals 53,638 files, a decrease of -9.20% compared to the year 2022.

Addressing the cases judged by the courts falling within the judicial district of the Court of Appeal of Ouarzazate, the first presidency of this jurisdiction noted that the total number of these cases recorded, for its part, a decrease of -10, 08% compared to the year 2022.

For his part, the King’s Attorney General at the Ouarzazate Court of Appeal, Mohamed Mounir Idrissi, stressed that the holding of this solemn hearing is an opportunity to review the results of the activities of the various courts within this judicial district. for the year 2023 and to present the 2024 action plan, as well as to examine the means and tools to establish efficient, transparent and easily accessible justice.

At the same time, he emphasized the “permanent” interaction of the General Prosecutor’s Office of this judicial district with the concerns of society and the defense of its interests, in application of the High Guidelines of His Majesty King Mohammed VI and as part of the implementation of circulars from the Public Ministry.

Furthermore, the judicial manager did not fail to recall the foundations of the action of this prosecution for the judicial year 2024 which revolves, among other things, around the improvement of judicial effectiveness and efficiency. and the rationalization of pre-trial detention, in addition to the promotion of the principles of professional conduct and ethics within this jurisdiction.
