Throughout his career, the late worked with renowned artists in the fields of interpretation, direction and choreography. In 1978, he and his wife founded a dance school and the company “Ballet theater Zinoun” which has many winners.
Despite the cultural obstacles he had to overcome along his journey, Lahcen Zinoun continued to shine in different artistic fields such as cinema, sculpture and painting.
The deceased was involved during his career in several projects intended to protect the rich heritage of Morocco, fighting against the loss of traditional dances through numerous innovative initiatives.
Attracted by the 7th art, the late Lahcen Zinoun also worked as a choreographer in numerous films. In 1991, he made his first short film, “Flagrant délire”, followed by three other short films: “Silence” in 2001, “Piano” in 2002 and “Faux pas” in 2003.
In 2021, the deceased published his biography “The Forbidden Dream” with the Belgian-Moroccan publishing house “Maha Éditions”.
