MOSCOW: Tensions along the Ukraine border have risen as talks between Russia and the West over the weekend failed to ease tensions in Ukraine.

Other countries, including the United Kingdom, are taking steps to rescue their citizens.

He said the possibility of Russia launching an attack on Ukraine continued. The United States fears that Russia could invade Ukraine at any time before the end of the Winter Olympics this month.
