Islamabad: A video of Pakistani Islamic scholar Tariq Masood is being shared rapidly on social media. In this video, he blames Indian PM Narendra Modi for not being able to get married. Actually, he says that he did not get a visa from India, due to which his marriage was delayed. He thought that he would get the visa in 2019, but again PM Modi came to power. Tariq Masood encourages people in Pakistan to have more than one marriage. Tariq Masood has been married four times. Masood said in the video, ‘I was also going to get married once, but then Modi Saheb’s rule came. So could not get visa. Now we cannot run such a long program. It is an old story, when Modi government had just come, there were visa issues. Then we thought that we will see in the next elections. Modi Saheb came again in the next elections. Modi is responsible for breaking my marriage at one place. Who will wait for 10 years now? If we come again then we will be left sitting here. We don’t do such marriages. Such a marriage should be an immediate farewell.
Statement also given on Shoaib Malik and Sania Mirza
Tariq Masood has also previously given a statement on the divorce of Sania Mirza and Shoyab Malik. Sania Mirza is an Indian tennis star, who married Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik in 2010. The news of their separation came this year. Regarding this, Tariq Masood had said, ‘Sometimes it is made in Mian Bibi and sometimes it is not. When things work out, they stay together, when things don’t work out, they get divorced. What caused such a big storm? This has been made like a war between India and Pakistan.
Tariq Masood has married four times
In an interview with Pakistani YouTuber Hafiz Ahmed, Tariq Masood had revealed that he has been married four times and has 16 children. Apart from this he said that everyone’s houses are different. Did more than one marriage go well? Regarding this he said that he has spent a lot of time in tension. He told that there is tension right from the matter of relationship to marriage and then reconciling with the first wife.
