The president of the Electoral Tribunal of the Judicial Branch of the Federation (TEPJF), Mónica Soto, pointed out that this organization is “strong” facing the final stretch of the elections.
During the presentation of the Special Defender for Women, the presiding judge acknowledged that there are only five of seven judges to qualify for the largest election in the history of the country, due to the lack of appointments from the Senate.

At the final stretch of the elections, he said, “a strong Court arrives, a Court that, although it is true that we are not complete, but we are absolutely committed and solid.”
Soto asserted that “the Electoral Tribunal has no absolute risk that it will not be able to fulfill its responsibility. It never has and it never will. So, we will comply in a timely manner with all means of challenge.”
He added that “we are already, today, one month away from election day, which I believe is a day that we have to wait like a party and continue celebrating like this, continue wishing for it to be like this.”

She noted that “I am sure that we will meet our neighbors there at the voting centers, so that we will have complete freedom to exercise our vote.”
