The cash dividend declared by the board of directors of two listed companies has been sent to shareholders as bank. The two companies are British American Tobacco Bangladesh Company Limited and Kasem Industries Limited.

The two companies have paid this dividend to shareholders for the financial years ended 31 December 2023 and 30 June 2023.

On Sunday (May 5), Dhaka and Chittagong Stock Exchange (DSE-CSE) said this information.

It is reported that the declared cash dividends of British American Tobacco Bangladesh Company (BATBC) Limited and Kasem Industries have been sent to investors through Bangladesh Electronic Fund Transfer Network (BEFTN) systems.

After reviewing the audited financial report for the financial year ended December 31, 2023, the Board of Directors of BATBC declared 100 percent cash dividend to the shareholders. which is approved by the consent of the shareholders in the annual general meeting of the company.

Meanwhile, after reviewing the audited financial report for the financial year ended June 30, 2023, the board of directors of Kasem Industries declared a cash dividend of 1.50 per cent to the shareholders. which is approved by the consent of the shareholders in the annual general meeting of the company.
