We believe that the second stage (rolling) will begin work in March of next year after completing the construction requirements.”
Regarding the future projects of the Steel Industries Company, Al-Zein explained, “There is work to complete other factories that will be announced after their completion, and in fact, partnership contracts have been resorted to to establish new factories in cooperation with reputable, highly experienced companies with high financial capabilities.”
He pointed out that “resorting to this option is due to the necessity of providing additional funds that are not available in the budgets alone to move the wheel of industry and provide job opportunities,” pointing out that “the Ministry of Industry’s current plan went towards focusing on strategic industries that include the mining, iron and petrochemical industries, as well as pharmaceuticals.” To meet local needs and provide hard currency.
