Israel carried out an airstrike on one of the headquarters of the military wing of the radical Palestinian movement Hamas in the Gaza Strip.
As Day.Az reports with reference to TASS, the army press service reported this.
According to the Israeli military, this command center was located on the territory of one of the complexes of the UN Middle East agency for helping Palestinian refugees and organizing work in the central part of the enclave.
The army said the strike was carried out by Israeli Air Force fighters based on army and counterintelligence intelligence and was “carefully planned and carried out using precision-guided munitions to minimize damage to uninvolved civilians.”
According to Israeli data, this headquarters has been used in recent weeks by Palestinian radicals to attack Israeli troops in the central Gaza Strip. The headquarters was also involved in the distribution of weapons for units of the military wing of Hamas, the army indicated. As a result of the strike, the headquarters was disabled.
