/ Cairo News Channel reported the resumption of Cairo negotiations today, Sunday, in an effort to reach a Israel after controversy over anti-Semitism”>truce between Israel and Hamas in the Gaza Strip.

The channel reported that “an Egyptian security source confirmed the resumption of truce negotiations between Israel and Hamas in Cairo” on Sunday.

The channel added that Egypt and Qatar, which are playing a mediation role in this regard, “continue their joint efforts to achieve progress in the negotiations between the two sides.”

Mossad head David Barnea and Shin Bet head Ronen Bar went to Cairo and Doha as part of negotiations to complete a prisoner exchange deal.

Israeli Channel 12 reported that Barnea headed to Doha, while Shin Bet head Ronen Bar will head to Cairo.

The channel pointed out that this comes with the approval of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
