Today, Wednesday, the Directorate of the Electricity Sector in Al-Dhuluiya District, Saladin Governorate, clarified the completion rates for its current projects.

Director of the Directorate, Shaiban Adnan, told the (INA): “Al-Dhuluiya district, which extends from the two rivers and ends at the floating wood bridge in the south, and from Al-Hawijah Al-Bahariya to the Al-Azim River, is witnessing urban expansion after the year 2020, and there are a number of projects currently in the district due to… “It needs a new network and lines after the increase in population density.”
He added, “The Ministry of Electricity has begun building Balad Station No. 2 with a capacity of 132 megawatts and the Khazraj and Kubayba stations with a capacity of 32 megawatts. Work on these stations has reached good completion rates, and there are two such stations under construction whose completion rates have exceeded fifty percent.”
Adnan pointed to “the rehabilitation of the old Al-Wadi station, which has reached 50% completion, and the Al-Rafidain station, which will be included in the rehabilitation in the coming days, in addition to the mobile wood bridge station.”
He pointed out that “the completion rate in the conveyor line between Balad Rajim station and Al-Jalisiyah station has reached 90%, and construction of the station will be carried out by the implementing company.”
Adnan stressed “the need of the Al-Dhuluiya district for a mobile station with a capacity of 62 megawatts, to operate the Khazraj and Kubaibah stations until the completion of the main station with a capacity of 132 megawatts,” noting that “the production capacity of the Al-Jalisiya thermal station is 1,200 megawatts, and that the completion rate of the transmission line from this station exceeded ninety percent.” “.
