“They tell you that we have no allies, they say that our traditional allies have abandoned us, we are left alone, that is why we are changing the foreign political vector of the country in order to have new allies. They are telling lies,” said Ishkhan Saghatelyan, a representative of the General Assembly of the Armenian Democratic Party of Armenia, a deputy of the Armenia faction of the National Assembly, during a meeting with the residents of Artashat.
Saghatelyan emphasized that the current authorities of RA are changing the political vector not to the West, but to Turkey.
“The foreign political vector of the Republic of Armenia is not towards the West, it is towards Turkey.
We believe that it is not necessary to introduce new peacemakers into the region and lead the country to a new adventure. It is necessary to move along the path of complementarity, not at the expense of one another, not to bring geopolitical conflicts to Armenia.
We believe that we have many opportunities with our strategic allies, with our neighbor Iran, which are not being used today,” said Ishkhan Saghatelyan.
