Indore Weather Update: Voting is taking place on 8 Lok Sabha seats of Madhya Pradesh today in the fourth phase of the celebration of democracy. In Indore, during the elections, the weather took a turn and it started raining with thunderstorms. Voting has been affected in many places due to the storm.
Due to strong winds, there was power failure at many polling stations in the city. During this, the polling personnel conducted the voting in the light of mobile torch. Let us tell you, the Meteorological Department has issued an alert of hailstorm and rain in 20 districts of the state. Light rain is expected in 26 districts. The Meteorological Department has predicted rain in Indore, Dhar, Ujjain, Ratlam. Light rain has been predicted in Khargone and Khandwa.
74 candidates are trying their luck in the elections being held on 8 Lok Sabha seats of Madhya Pradesh. There were queues of voters this morning, but due to absence of Congress candidate in Indore, election voting appeared dull. Still, a large number of people came here to cast their votes. The voting percentage till 5 pm was 56.53 percent. While in some polling areas it is raining heavily with hail, in some places enthusiasm is being seen among the voters even amidst the rain. Suddenly a period of rain started in Depalpur, Indore. It continued to rain for about 20 minutes due to which there was silence at the polling booths. Only a few voters are present at the polling booth.
