/ The top of the Hamas political bureau, Ismail Haniyeh, went on Tuesday to the Iranian capital, Tehran, to satisfy with Iranian officers, in line with what Iranian media reported.

In a tweet on its account on the X platform, the Iranian English-language Press TV channel mentioned, “Ismail Haniyeh, head of the political bureau of the Islamic Resistance Motion (Hamas), will go to Tehran immediately, Tuesday, to satisfy with Iranian officers.”

This go to comes a day after the UN Safety Council adopted a decision calling for a direct ceasefire between Israel and the Palestinian group.

Iran helps Hamas within the warfare that has been ongoing for about 6 months in Gaza and has led to the demise of greater than 32,000 Palestinians.
