Kochi : Navya Nair and Vinayakan will play the lead roles in the movie ‘Oruthi’ trailer released. After a long hiatus, the film stars Navya Nair in the lead role. The trailer of the movie has been released with the tag line that it is the untold story of a woman. It is understood from the trailer that this is a crime thriller movie.
The film is about a woman and her son who are caught in a crime and try to escape from it. In the movie, Navya Nair plays the role of a boat conductor. In the movie, Vinayakan plays a police officer. Vinayakan is also likely to be a character with a villainous background.

The story, screenplay and dialogues of Oruthi directed by VK Prakash are by S. Suresh Babu with the tagline ‘The Fire in You’. Navya Nair also won the JC Daniel Foundation Film Award for Best Actress 2020, the 12th Bharat Murali Film Award 2020 and the Gandhi Bhavan Film Award 2020.
