Russian Library Day was celebrated on Monday (Could 27) on the Russian Home in Dhaka. Varied elements of Russian tradition and custom have been highlighted in this system organized on this event.
Initially of the occasion, Dvoichenkov defined the significance of Russian Library Day and praised Russia’s wealthy literary heritage. Engineer Abdus Sobhan then gave a lecture on the significance of Bengali translation of works of Russian authors. Olga Roy outlines the historic context of Russian Library Day. As well as, Karina Vasileva gave a speech on the significance of studying Russian and studying about Russian tradition.
One of many highlights of this system was a presentation about Moscow’s library and a documentary in regards to the life and work of the well-known Russian author Fyodor Dostoyevsky.
An try has been made to extend the curiosity of the folks of Bangladesh in the direction of Russian tradition and heritage by celebrating Russian Library Day. Russian Home in Dhaka hopes that the occasion will contribute to rising cultural change between Russia and Bangladesh.
