At 18 centimeters long, 4 centimeters thick and 34 centimeters in circumference, this strawberry holds the record for being the largest in the world.

The cold, which lasted from late January to early February, allowed strawberries to grow slowly for up to 45 days, which is why large-scale strawberries are grown, said researcher Nir Doal.

Earlier, the strawberry at the Ariel farm broke the record for the world’s largest strawberry weighing 250 grams. Raised by Perry Koji Nakao of Fukuoka, Japan, Amaw strawberry was listed in the 2015 Guinness Book of World Records.
