The 2nd assembly of the Working Advisory Committee of the twelfth Nationwide Parliament has been organized. This occasion was held at Jatiya Sangsad Bhavan on Wednesday (June 5).
The chairman of the committee is the speaker of Bangladesh Nationwide Parliament. Shirin Sharmin Chowdhury presided over the assembly. Committee member and Parliament Chief and Honorable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina participated within the assembly.
Aside from this, committee members Chief of Opposition GM Quader, Amir Hossain Amu, Abul Hasanat Abdullah, Sheikh Fazlul Karim Salim, Obaidul Quader, Rashed Khan Menon, Anisul Haque, Deputy Chief of Opposition Anisul Islam Mahmud, Abdul Latif Siddiqui, Deputy Speaker participated within the assembly. Md. Shamsul Haque Tuku, Dr. Dipu Moni, Chief Whip Noor-e-Alam Chowdhury and AKM Rezaul Karim Tansen. Finance Minister Abul Hasan Mahmud Ali participated within the assembly as per the intention of the President.
Within the assembly, the allocation of time and the period of the session for the completion of the actions of the third session of the twelfth Nationwide Parliament have been mentioned. The session will start on Thursday, June 6 at 3 p.m. There shall be no periods on Fridays, Saturdays and public holidays. Nevertheless, the session shall be held on June 22 and June 29 Saturday. Aside from this, it was determined within the assembly that the session will proceed from 11 am to 1 pm and from 7 pm to 10 pm day-after-day. The session shall be adjourned on June 13 and resume on June 19. It was determined within the assembly that the Honorable Speaker will decide the period of the third session of the twelfth Nationwide Parliament contemplating the amount of Parliament’s actions. The Hon’ble Speaker is empowered to make any adjustments relating to the time and dealing days of the session if crucial.
A complete of 1972 questions have been acquired on this session, together with 82 questions for the Hon’ble Prime Minister and 1890 questions for different ministers. 54 consideration notices have been acquired in rule-71 and no notices have been acquired in proposal (common) rule-147.
