New Delhi: Sixteen-year-old Indian cricketer defeated world chess champion Magnus Carlsen. ഗ്രIndian Grandmaster R at Airtings Masters Online Rapid Chess Tournament Carlson was overthrown by Pragyananda. In the eighth round of the tournament, Carlson lost to the Indian teenager. Carlson, who came in with three wins in a row, was knocked out by the youngster with 39 moves.

This is Pragyananda’s second victory in the tournament. He has previously won one, drawn two and lost four of his last seven matches. A total of 16 players will be selected for the tournament. In the preliminary round, a player gets 15 matches.
