Smart agriculture, the best European technologies, anti-hail systems, drip irrigation and quality crops.

In the Karbi village of Aragatsotn, on an area of more than 45 hectares, there are intensive and super-intensive apricot, apple and pear orchards of the ArLeAM company.

Since 2016, ArLeAM has been growing world-renowned fruit varieties. The seedlings were brought from Holland and Italy: 4 varieties of apples, 2 varieties of pears and 4 varieties of apricots.

ArLeAM’s intensive and smart agriculture partner is Akba Leasing. The company has introduced a unique sorting production line, organized the entire fruit production chain, from growing to consumption of the crop. All control of the flow line is carried out from the computer. the speed of sorting, the workload of the production tables, the size and volume of the fruits can be seen on the screen.

Thanks to the automated system obtained with the support of our partner, Akba Leasing, an analysis of the works performed during the year is also obtained, which helps to plan the next production year.

“The life of an intensive garden is calculated up to 15 years. Then they should go out and plant new trees in their place. After 3-4 years, the whole garden will be productive and we will get 50-70 tons of harvest per hectare, the trees will flourish and we will have a healthier and more productive garden. The gardens are super intense and intense. In the intensive case, 3,000 trees are planted, in the super-intensive case, from 4,000 to 4,200 trees. The techniques provided to us by our partner Akba Leasing make our work easy and comfortable, without which it is impossible to imagine intensive agriculture.

With the help of Akba Leasing, we acquired the sorting line of the well-known Dutch company “Grefa”, which is unique in its kind in Armenia and is the only one in Armenia according to the classification of external quality features. It is simply a necessity for intensive gardening in large gardens. One-dimensionality of apples is important for making sales. International partners attach great importance to the uniformity and one-dimensionality of the exported apples,” says Pailak Piliposyan, the person in charge of the agriculture, refrigeration and sorting workshop of the “ArLeAM” company.

ArLeAM plans to develop agrotourism. harvesting activities, tasting of rural products will be organized for the guests, the guest house is also under construction.
