By the order of the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia, Argishti Kyaramyan, Rafael Vardanyan was appointed the Deputy Head of the Main Military Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee, being released from the position of the Head of the Department of Investigation of Particularly Important Cases of the Main Military Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee.
Biography of Rafael Harutyun Vardanyan
Born on October 6, 1987, in Yerevan.
2008 graduated from the Faculty of Law of Yerevan State University, then in 2010 Master’s degree of the Faculty of Law of the International Scientific and Educational Center of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia.
In 2015, he defended his doctoral thesis and received the scientific degree of candidate of legal sciences.

2008-2011 – As an investigator of the operational department in the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia
2011-2012 – Head of the investigative group of the N military unit of the RA Ministry of Defense
2012-2014 – Legal advisor of the legal group of the Main Department of State Security of the RA Police
