Spain full-back Dani Carvajal has revealed his ongoing attempts to convince teammate Rodri to join Real Madrid.
During an interview with Spanish radio station Cope, Carvajal spoke about the Manchester City star when asked if he would like to play alongside him at club level as well.
“Without a doubt, I want him at Real Madrid, and I tell him every day that he has to leave Manchester, where there is no sun,” Carvajal said.
“I urge him to come to Madrid, because we need him, but he tells me he has a contract, but he would be ideal for us,” he added.
Rodri is considered one of the best midfielders in recent years, and together with Carvajal, he has helped Spain reach the Euro 2024 final.
The Spanish team aspires to set a record for the number of times it has won the tournament, by reaching the fourth title.
