More than 30 engineers from 8 European countries are participating in the pan-European gathering of CodeSignal company in Armenia
During the gathering named CodeSignal “Ararat Meetup”, engineers working remotely in different European cities work together in the Yerevan office, discuss and solve a number of strategic issues together.

On February 14, CodeSignal’s pan-European meeting started in Yerevan, within the framework of which the company’s employees from Great Britain, Russia, Romania, Montenegro, Switzerland, Germany and Spain arrived in Yerevan for a week. The Yerevan office is the only one in the world, despite the fact that the company has 90 employees or Signalite in 12 countries of the world. Most of the team works entirely remotely, which often prevents direct communication between employees. Many business meetings have already been held during the three days, teammates were able to solve many problems together, communicate directly with each other, and also enjoy Evening Yerevan.
The conclusion of CodeSignal “Ararat Meetup” will be in Dilijan, where the main emphasis will be placed on the more direct contact of the European team, team games and other joint activities. The main goal is for team members to communicate outside the office and get to know each other personally. As a result, they will get to know each other’s strengths and weaknesses, interests and peculiarities as well as possible.
Eduard Filiposyan, Technical Director of CodeSignal Company and Director of the Armenian Office, noted that completely remote work often prevents direct communication between employees, and the purpose of the meeting in Armenia is to increase the effectiveness of teamwork, giving team members the opportunity to communicate personally and get closer.
Signalites from different European cities get to know the history of Armenia, walk the streets of Yerevan, taste Armenian cuisine and visit museums. All the guests love to get involved and try to get to know the country and culture of their Yerevan teammates as well as possible, making cultural exchange an important part of this gathering.
