The Russia-Ukraine war is intensifying as the hours go by. Currently, according to information released by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, about 50 Russian soldiers have been killed. Four tanks carrying Russian troops were reportedly set on fire in the town of Kharkiv. Meanwhile, five Ukrainian soldiers were reported killed.

Ukrainian President Selensky has called for an end to diplomatic relations with Russia. He said Russia was being attacked like a coward. He added that Russia’s attack was similar to that of the Nazis. Ukrainian President Selensky said today that Ukraine would not give up independence for any reason.

Within hours of the military offensive, Russia reportedly seized control of two cities in the Luhansk region. They claim that these cities are now under the control of Russian-backed separatists. The separatists claim to have captured the towns of Schastya and Stanitsia Luhansk in the Luhansk region of Ukraine.

This was shortly after the Russian Defense Ministry announced that Ukraine had defused military bases and air defense systems. Meanwhile, Minister of State for External Affairs Rajkumar Ranjan Singh said that India would remain neutral on the issue. It has been reported that India is not currently joining any country. The foreign ministry said it hoped a peaceful solution would be reached. Meanwhile, India has taken steps to repatriate Indians stranded in Ukraine. India has also sought the help of other countries for this. He also said that India was monitoring the situation in Ukraine.
