Russia-Ukraine war – Sri Lanka in massive trouble

All international flights to Ukraine have been grounded following Russia’s massive offensive in Ukraine. As a result, the number of Ukrainian tourists currently visiting Sri Lanka is in crisis.

They have to spend more time in Sri Lanka without being able to go back to their country.

These days Sri Lanka is attracting more and more tourists from the Russian region including Ukraine.

The government has begun the process of deporting Sri Lankans in Ukraine through the Sri Lankan embassy in Turkey.
