The Last of Us Season 2: New Teaser and Release Date Announced

The highly anticipated second season of the hit HBO series The Last of Us is finally getting closer. While we have to wait until the first half of 2025 for its official release, creator Neil Druckmann has gifted fans with a new teaser.
The short video shared by star Pedro Pascal on his Instagram features a brief glimpse of Joel (Pascal) interacting with a mysterious new character, Catherine O’Hara. The dialogue teases a tense exchange, with Catherine accusing Joel of harming someone, to which he responds, “No.” The scene then escalates as Catherine demands answers, leading Joel to confess, “I saved her.”
The teaser also offers glimpses of the drama and action to come in the new season. We see Ellie screaming from a stretcher, hinting at potential danger, and the young survivor firing a rifle in a dark location.
