21 cars ready for the members of the interim government

New Interim Government Sworn in Bangladesh

Dhaka, ⁢Bangladesh – August‌ 9,⁤ 2024 – Nobel laureate ⁢Dr. Muhammad Yunus will⁢ lead the newly formed interim government of Bangladesh. The oath-taking ceremony will take place on Thursday (August 8) at 8:30 p.m. in the Durbar Hall of Bangabhavan.

To facilitate the ceremony, 21 ⁣new cars have been⁢ prepared from the transport pool and kept in the⁤ cabinet department. The head of the interim ⁣government, Muhammad Yunus, has been allocated a BMW​ latest series car. Other members of the government will receive Toyota ⁢Camry hybrid models.

The interim government formation comes after Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina resigned and left the country on Monday (August 5) ​amidst ongoing⁤ protests. Other ministers and state ministers are deemed to have resigned following the prime minister’s departure.

Speaking to reporters upon his arrival in Dhaka, Dr. Yunus expressed concern over the current ⁤situation in the country, calling for an end to⁢ the violence and conspiracy. He emphasized the need for unity and protection of⁣ minorities.

“We ⁤must stop the chaos, violence, and conspiracy that is hindering our⁣ progress,” Yunus⁤ said. “Every human being is our ⁣brother or sister. We must understand each other.”
