By promoting the workshop “The Power of Women in the Family Economy”, the business entity will seek to position the female sector in the city, he said Angelica Brito Mirandaa, vice president of Associations of the business entity.
Brito Miranda highlighted the need to empower women who combine work with motherhood and/or home, “we want them to feel connected, that there is someone who understands them, that they are not alone.”
He emphasized the importance of the man getting involved as a support for the woman, “whenever I talk about the topic of women, I really emphasize that we are not just women; we are at a time when we have to ally ourselves with men, work together because it is the only way we can achieve a much stronger and more inclusive society.”
He indicated that he shares the vision of the new president of the Coparmex CDMX, Adal Ortiz Avalos to be more empathetic with the different sectors of society.
The workshop was held at the Backroom Expo, organized by the National Alliance of Small Merchants (Anpec) in the framework of its day on August 7.
