## South Korean Table Tennis Star Shin Yu-bin Wins Bronze at Paris Olympics
Shin Yu-bin, the youngest ace of women’s table tennis, beamed after completing her Olympic commitments. Having competed in the mixed doubles, singles, and team events, she secured two bronze medals. This impressive feat makes her the fourth Korean table tennis player to win two or more medals at the Olympics, following Yoo Nam-gyu (1988 Seoul Games) and Kim Taek-soo and Hyun Jung-hwa (1992 Barcelona Games).
“I’m glad that this was a competition where I was able to display all the effort and preparation I put in without any regrets,” Shin Yu-bin said, smiling. “I played many matches, but now that it’s all over, I feel relieved.”
Despite facing physical exhaustion during the team match, Shin Yu-bin maintained her mental strength, fueled by the support of her teammates. “Since it was a team event, I tried to endure with mental strength,” she explained. “I couldn’t get tired because I wasn’t doing it alone and my sisters were by my side. I wanted to win because I saw the medal right in front of me.”
Shin Yu-bin expressed her gratitude to her coach, Oh Kwang-hoon, praising his gentle charisma and individual care for each player.
