(ANSA) – ROME, AUGUST 10 – The live action version of Snow White, the beloved Disney animated classic from 1937, will hit theaters on March 21, 2025. Directed by Marc Webb, the film stars Rachel Zegler as the first princess created by Walt himself and Gal Gadot as her stepmother, the evil queen. The trailer was unveiled at the D23 Expo in Anaheim, an annual event for Disney fans.
From the first glimpses, it’s clear that the remake will stay faithful to the original. The protagonist’s iconic blue and yellow dress, the seven dwarfs, their march towards the mine, their dance to the tune of “Learn to Whistle,” and the wicked Grimhilde’s infamous question, “Who is the fairest of them all?” are all faithfully recreated.
“It was an absolute honor to play Snow White,” Rachel Zegler shared, expressing her excitement about the role. “Any young person who has ever dreamed of being a Disney princess will understand the incredible experience of embodying such a beloved character.” Gal Gadot, known for her portrayal of Wonder Woman, added, “She’s delicious, she’s evil, she’s magical.” (ANSA).
