Meeting Between Armenian and Russian Officials on High-Tech Industry

RA Minister of High-tech Industry Vahagn Khachaturyan met with a delegation led by Sergey Kopirkin, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to RA.
During the meeting, Khachaturyan presented the works and programs implemented by his ministry to transform Armenia into a high-tech industrial country. He emphasized the importance of collaborating with Russian companies and scientific institutions to equip Armenia’s economy with the latest technologies.
Ambassador Kopirkin acknowledged the continuous cooperation between the two countries in the field of information and high technologies. He expressed his belief that Armenia, as a strategic partner, will actively participate in the organization and holding of the World Expo-2030 in Moscow.
The parties expressed their readiness to expand their sectoral cooperation. Additionally, Mikhail Korolyov, Advisor to the Russian Ambassador, announced that a comprehensive assessment of Armenian engineers and technical specialists is underway to implement joint innovative programs and develop technologically complex equipment.
The meeting also covered issues of bilateral and multilateral cooperation within the CIS, EAEU, and CSTO frameworks.
