A coffee made Adriano Assis, worker at the regional hospital of Toledo, missed the flight which crashed in Brazil where 62 people died, which saved his life.
In an interview with TV Globo moments after the terrible plane crash was reported, the man said that he arrived at 9:40 am (Brazil) at the VoePass airline counter, but it was closed.
Adriano Assis said that there was no one at the counter, so he went to sit down and have coffee while he waited.
Approximately at 10:30 am the man returned to where he was supposed to board but, due to the long line, a worker prevented him from boarding.
It was like this that a coffee and a VoePass worker saved this man’s life which caused him to miss the flight that crashed in Brazil where 62 people died.
I had a coffee and waited. The microphone said nothing and neither did the aircraft.
When I got off it was already 10:30 and there was a long queue here. I waited, when it was 10:41 or so, a worker told me that I would not board anymore because it was an hour early for boarding.
At that point I argued with him and that was it. He saved my life. If he hadn’t done his job, I might not be here today in this interview.
