The family of a kinesiologist who died a year ago in Curacautín, La Araucanía region, has asked the prosecutor’s office to speed up the investigation to clarify how the death occurred.

In this case, people close to the young professional filed a complaint on December 18, 2023, but despite this, there has been little progress in the investigation led by prosecutor Iván Isla.
The complainant said he met with National Prosecutor Ángel Valencia, from whom he requested a report to determine whether the Curacautín Prosecutor’s Office complied with the Public Ministry’s investigation protocols for these cases.
