CAN-2023 Qualifiers: Match Between Morocco and Liberia Postponed Due to Earthquake
Casablanca – The match originally scheduled for this evening in Agadir between the Moroccan and Liberian national teams, as part of the final day of qualifiers for the African Cup of Nations (CAN-2023), has been postponed to a later date. This postponement was announced by the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) following the earthquake that struck the Al Haouz region.
“Following the earthquake that struck various regions of the Kingdom, the FRMF announces the postponement of the match originally scheduled for this evening between the Moroccan and Liberian national teams. This decision was made in coordination with the Confederation of African Football.”
The Moroccan football association expressed their sincere condolences to the families of the victims and wished a speedy recovery to those injured in the earthquake.
