Marrakech: Closing of the 14th Forum of the Arab Satellite Communications Organization “Arabsat”

Organized⁤ under the auspices of the Ministry of Digital ‍Transition and ⁣Administrative Reform, the ⁤14th forum of the‌ Arab Satellite ​Communications Organization (Arabsat) brought together telecommunications service providers, owners and managers of Arab ‌and international broadcasting channels, along with global‍ experts in the field and technical partners of ​the organization.

This forum, dedicated to telecommunications service providers, offered a platform‍ to​ discuss the challenges and advancements within the telecommunications⁣ satellite industry.

In a statement to M24,‍ the‍ continuous news television channel ⁤of MAP, Yasir Hassan, Director of Transmission Operations at Arabsat, expressed his satisfaction with ⁤the forum, citing the high participation rate and the relevance of the discussed ​topics.

Mr.‌ Hassan emphasized that the meeting provided an opportunity to not only explore recent technological solutions ‍offered by telecommunications service providers but​ also‌ to listen ⁣to the expectations and needs of Arabsat customers.

Established in 1976 by the member states ​of the League ⁢of Arab States, the Arab Communications​ Satellite Organization (Arabsat) stands⁣ among the top 6 satellite operators globally and is the leading provider of satellite services in the Arab ‌world.

It broadcasts over‌ 500 television channels,‌ 200 radio stations, and pay television channels, reaching tens of millions of homes across more than 80 countries across the Middle East, Africa, and Europe.
