Inflation Report Released by INEGI in Mexico
With the recent global economic turbulence, the National Institute of Statistics and Geography (INEGI) released the monthly inflation report for Mexico, as of July.
According to INEGI, the annual inflation rate stood at 5.57%, marking its fifth consecutive month of increases and remaining far from the 3% target set by the Bank of Mexico (Banxico).
The report also revealed:
The National Consumer Price Index (NCPI) increased by 1.05% compared to the previous month.
The core price index increased by 0.32% monthly and 4.05% annually.
* The non-core price index registered an increase of 3.29% monthly and 10.36% annually.

- LP gas
- Orange
- Onion
- Avocado
- Egg
- Pork
Conversely, certain products saw a decline in prices:
- Serrano chili
- Grape
- Sugar
- Green tomato
- Papaya
- Lemon
- Vegetable oils
