At the session of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council in Cholpon-Ate, the list of exclusions and restrictions in the internal market of the Eurasian Economic Union, which are subject to elimination in 2021-2022, was approved. In total, there are 14 obstacles in the list. 13 limitations and 1 exclusion.
“Building a list is a laborious but very important process. In fact, today the heads of governments have indicated the most sensitive obstacles for the Union, which need to be eliminated in 2021-2022. Their registration and further work on their elimination is another significant step towards ensuring the operation of the internal market without obstacles, exclusions and restrictions”, said Gegham Vardanyan, a member of the EEC ICT Board for Internal Markets, Informatization, Information and Communication Technologies (Minister).
In order to optimize the work related to the elimination of the existing obstacles in the list, the EEC, together with the governments of the member states of the Union, will prepare and submit to the consideration of the Council of the Commission the corresponding program of measures (“the road map”) by October 1, 2021.
