The tone in the Legends jungle camp is getting rougher. During a joint night watch, Thorsten Legat and Giulia Siegel are now making fun of their fellow camp members.

Editor’s note: The content of this article refers to the jungle camp episode, which will not be shown on linear TV until August 21st, but is already available on RTL+.

Giulia Siegel has had several arguments with her fellow campers in recent days on “I’m a Celebrity – The Showdown of the Jungle Legends”. She argued with Danni Büchner about the distribution of tasks, Elena Miras reprimanded her for breaking the rules and Sarah Knappik couldn’t please her when cooking.

More and more candidates are distancing themselves from Giulia Siegel, but Thorsten Legat is still well-disposed towards the DJ. In the sixth episode, the two of them do the night watch together at the campfire – and find unflattering words for some of their colleagues.

In recent years, former “Germany’s Next Top Model” candidate Sarah Knappik has gained around 20 kilos. She stands by her curves. “It doesn’t matter if you’re fat, thin, tall or short. You’re lovable just the way you are,” said the TV celebrity in a recent RTL interview.

But Giulia Siegel seems to have a different point of view. “I hope that the jungle will provide Sarah with a basis for losing a little weight, because that’s what she wants so much,” explains the 49-year-old in an interview with Thorsten Legat. The athlete also has something to say on the subject: “Why does she have such a big belly?” he asks. Siegel thinks he knows the answer: “You can’t let yourself go,” says the reality star.

Giulia Siegel also doesn’t think much of Winfried Glatzeder. “I find him so negative. I once asked him why he was like that. He said: I love hurting people and seeing them suffer,” reports the model. “Oh, stop it,” says Thorsten Legat in disbelief. Ralph Siegel’s daughter then reveals further details from her conversation with the actor. According to her, he told her that in the past he had also “treated his wife and grandchildren badly.”

A little later, Thorsten Legat explains on the jungle phone that his conversation with Giulia Siegel was not about gossip. “What else should we talk about if not about our fellow campers?” Giulia Siegel also thinks her statements are justified. “It’s getting wilder and wilder here. People are becoming more aggressive, more peculiar, more disrespectful, more malicious,” says the TV star.

On August 15, “I’m a Celebrity – The Showdown of the Jungle Legends” started on RTL+. On linear television, the special broadcast to mark the show’s 20th anniversary only started one day later.

As usual, the jungle camp will be hosted by Sonja Zietlow and Jan Köppen. However, this year “I’m a Celebrity – The Showdown of the Jungle Legends” will not take place in Australia, but in South Africa. The show was also recorded. Filming took place several weeks ago.
