A charity fund-raising dinner dedicated to the 15th anniversary of the State Symphony Orchestra of Armenia was held, which was aimed at the development of the orchestra. Friends and supporters of the orchestra participated.

Donations were made during the fundraising dinner. “Kataro” Reserve 2016 donated by Grigory Avetisyan, the owner of “Kataro” wine factory, was also held for that evening. an auction of one bottle of wine, which was sold for a record price of 500,000 drams. It was bought by a friend of the orchestra, philanthropist Gabriel Chenberjian. The purchased wine was presented to maestro Tigran Mansuryan with the signatures of conductor Sergey Smbatyan and Grigori Avetisyan.

The owner of the “Kataro” factory noted that as a result of the large-scale war of 2020, Hadrut region came under the control of Azerbaijan, leaving the “Kataro” wine factory in Togh.

“Difficult at that moment, it was possible to get out of Togh only 10,000 bottles of wine, “Kataro” reserve, aged since 2017, none of which remained either in the factory under the control of the enemy, or in the Armenian market. It is encouraging, perhaps, that there is Artsakh land, there is sun, there is a mistletoe, and there are the same hands that, regardless of everything, will continue to convey their history through the bottles of “Kataro”, Grigori Avetisyan said.

According to him, 10,000 bottles of “Kataro” wines will be sold, and the profit will be directed to the construction of a new factory.
