Member of the administrative body of the Police Sports Club, Wahab Al-Taie, confirmed that Al-Qithara is determined to win the match against Al-Nasr, while he indicated that the absence of Belamri will not affect the team.
Al-Taie told the (INA) today, Monday: “The team is ready for today’s match, and is determined to present a great match that befits the reputation of the club and Iraqi football,” indicating that “the absence of the Algerian professional Jamal Belamri will not affect the team at all, and the police defenses are fine, and we have confidence in all the players to accomplish the mission.”
Al-Taie added, “The match against the Saudi Al-Nassr Club is very important, as it is being played against a team of global importance, ranked among the top fifty teams in the world.”
Al-Taie continued, “The team held a training camp in Egypt with the aim of raising the team’s readiness and achieving harmony between the players. Indeed, harmony was achieved on the psychological, technical and tactical levels.” He added, “The administrative staff recommended that the players be committed, disciplined and follow the technical instructions to achieve a good result that satisfies the fans of Al-Qithara.”
