“Lydian Armenia” issued a message referring to the discussions related to the danger of uranium in Amulsar.
“For a long time, some circles specializing in the spread of deliberate falsehoods around Amulsar added to other nonsense the thesis that there is a danger related to uranium in the Amulsar mine, referring to the “Gromovian” research done in the Soviet years (1952-54).
S.t. On August 14, the State Committee for Nuclear Safety Regulation, based on the “Gromovyan” report, the EIA report of the Amulsar project, the laboratory results of the double verification study of about 50,000 drilling samples, as well as the most interesting test samples, provided the Ministry of Environment with the results of the verification survey. (copy to “Lydian Armenia”).
The results prove that “Lydian” is right in this matter as well. In particular, according to the research results:
– The area mentioned in the “Gromovyan” report is outside the territory of the Amulsar mine.
– The research works carried out by “Lidian Armenia” are sufficient for the preparation of EIA and ESIA documents,
– The relevant sections of the EIA and ESIA documents meet the RA Radiation Safety norms and rules, as well as the requirements of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) safety standards,
– Regarding radiation safety, there is no need to review EIA and EIA documents.
Lydian has repeatedly provided evidence that the uranium hazard claims are just another hoax, and that the Amulsar Environmental Impact Assessment proves that all research has been done properly and that there is no radiation or uranium hazard at Amulsar.
Thus, we hope that the page of this regular fake about Amulsar can be considered closed, with indisputable scientific justification,” the message says.
