The Executive has satisfied the application submitted by “Alex Fabrica” LLC to benefit from the privilege of exemption from customs duty within the framework of the investment program implemented in the priority sector. The company will use the imported goods for the production of clothes, making an investment of 300 million drams. Currently, there are 116 jobs, another 30 new jobs will be created with an average salary of AMD 115,000.
The total volume of products provided by the project will be 500 million drams, which will be fully implemented in the territory of the Republic of Armenia. The value of the goods submitted for obtaining the privilege is 300 million drams. The privilege of customs duty exemption amounts to 23.5 million drams.
“Sharosolar” and “Satenkar” LLCs will also benefit from the duty exemption privilege. In particular, “Sharosolar” company will use the imported products for electricity production, will build a solar plant. The station will be built and operated in Katnaghbyur village of Aragatsotn marz, Katnaghbyur community administrative area.
The produced electricity will be completely sold to HETC CJSC, there is an electric power production (capacity) license granted by the RA Public Services Regulatory Commission, valid until February 1, 2041. An investment of 30 million drams has already been made for the purchase of the plot. It is planned to make an investment of 350 million drams for the implementation of construction works aimed at the construction of the station and an investment of 1 billion 350 million drams for the purchase of equipment.
Currently, there is 1 job, 6 main and 40 temporary new jobs will be created within the framework of the project, with an average salary of 150,000 drams. The annual volume of electricity production will be around 249 million drams. The value of the goods presented for obtaining the privilege is 286.3 million drams. The exemption from customs duty amounts to 28 million drams.
