There are calls for reform almost everywhere in the country. In that continuation, the artists voiced for the reformation of the small screen actors’ organization Abhinashili Sangh. The artists have raised various complaints against the organization and demanded reforms.
Following this, Shilpi Sangh called an emergency meeting yesterday (September 18) at a convention hall in Mahakhali of the capital. An interim reform committee has been formed there, preventing the current committee from taking any decision.
Dramatist and talented actor Tariq Anam Khan has been given the responsibility of heading this new committee for a period of four months. This was confirmed by Ahsan Habib Nasim, President of the Actors Association.
He said, after listening to everyone’s words, a new committee named ‘Interim Reforms Committee’ has been formed with Tariq Anam Khan as its head. He will be on the committee with artists for the next four months and will work on reforms. After a certain time, the election will be announced.
However, it is known that none of them are resigning, even though they have demanded the resignation of the president and general secretary of the Sangh, who belonged to the party of the previous government.
In this context, Ahsan Habib Nasim said, even if none of our 21-member committee has resigned, they will conduct their official activities for these four months. But they cannot take any major decisions. Only the head of the committee can do that.
Tariq Anam will serve as interim reform committee from Thursday (September 19). However, it is said that there will be four more people in the committee with him. However, it has not yet been announced who will be there.
