Armenia is discussing the issue of extending the state of emergency from August 12, RA Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan said after the curfew session.

“It largely depends on what the anti-epidemiological picture will be in the near future,” he said.

Avinyan mentioned that the curfew is developing a co-infection management plan.

“The entire logic of the management plan will be that we have to learn to live and work in the conditions of the coronavirus,” said the RA Deputy Prime Minister.

Paret mentioned that the possibility of re-opening a number of still limited areas is being discussed.

According to him, in the case of international air transportation, the situation will be different in terms of the expected easing of restrictions.

“Our actions here are mainly aimed at preventing the occurrence of additional epidemiological risks as much as possible and maintaining the currently achieved stable but fragile situation,” Avinyan said.

According to the Deputy Prime Minister, it will not be possible to travel abroad for the purpose of tourism.

He called to organize the holiday in Armenia.
